The appearance of the person, depicted in default yellow, varies. Apple's person is wearing a green shower cap, WhatsApp's a green washcloth. Google’s person appears to be playing in a bubble bath, with soapsuds atop their ahead. Other major vendors show the head of the bather with short, brown or blonde hair. Skin tone modifiers are available on supported platforms.

Person Taking Bath was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 under the name “Bath” and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
